Zazam is a privately funded startup with offices in San Francisco providing a new micro-classified social exchange. Zazam's social networking exchange facilitates quick and easy communication for exchange of products, property, skills and services.
We want to limit waste, accelerate exchanges, and increase the number of transactions through micro-classifieds of 140 characters or less - that is 70 characters to say what you are offering, and 70 characters to say what you want in exchange.
Our philosophy is "less is more." Most Americans today have more than they need in terms of possessions. Almost all of us have things in our closets, garages and storage that we don’t need, want, or use. Additionally, we all have talents, skills, and services we can offer that are underutilized and can be shared more openly. By having less of everything, you should maximize the value of what you do have. Whether you list something for free, to exchange, or sell, you can maximize value.
The Zazam micro-classified approach requires less from the user to input, which makes the process of listing something for sale or trade quick and painless. Lenghty registration and post processes on some sites are great for those of us that use them on a regular basis, but not for the average seller that wants to just list something in 30 seconds or less.
Zazam is not only meant to be a business that stimulates exchange, but also a culture that we hope will become a part of mainstream society. Our culture is meant to stimulate a new way of thinking where exchange can reduce waste of everything and encourage the maximization of everyones resources.
Zazam is run by a small but extremely efficient team. Additionally we have contracted programmers, designers, lawyers and consultants on an as needed basis. We are looking to form a strong executive team. If you are interested in working us and have had an executive level background in developing a successful startup, please email us your resume and your compensation requirements to jobs at zazam.
